1947
Neil B. Kelly purchased a weatherization company for $100
1950s
Neil worked out of his basement office with wife, Arlene, as the office staff while raising their eight children.

1960s
Company moved to current North Portland headquarters location

1970s
Neil Kelly developed the Design / Build Process in Remodeling

A Neil Kelly Designer was one of the first Certified Kitchen Designers through the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA)
Construction Contractors Board created. Received CCB License #1663.
Neil’s son, Tom Kelly, becomes President of the company
1980s
A Neil Kelly Designer was the first Certified Bath Designers through the NKBA
Neil B. Kelly first national President of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)
1990s
Started Handyman Home Repair Team Division
Became a member of the Oregon Natural Step Network
2000s
Lake Oswego showroom the first LEED ® Certified Commercial
Building on the West Coast
Opened Eugene Showroom to service Eugene and Springfield area
Started Home Performance Division
Started Custom Homes Division
Built first LEED® Certified Home on the West coast
Opened Bend Location
