Accounting Project Specialist – Portland

We’re a B Corp certified residential remodeling contractor looking for an Accounting Project Specialist. Neil Kelly Co., founded in 1947 and growing, has an immediate opening in its headquarters Accounting Dept. in North Portland. Neil Kelly also has offices in Lake Oswego, Eugene, Bend, and Seattle. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA license and a minimum of 3-4 years of audit or equivalent, be proficient in Excel with the ability to create spreadsheets and queries.  The Accounting Project Specialist must have a high attention to detail and accuracy and the ability direct and supervise a small group. The successful candidate will have proven knowledge of accounting principles, audit standards, laws and regulations. Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases is required. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills and small group management experience. Working knowledge of Timberline accounting software is highly desired.
