Residential Remodeling Sales / Design Consultant – Seattle
Neil Kelly Co., an award winning design-build residential remodeling firm, has an opening in its Seattle office for a residential remodeling Sales/Design Consultant. This is a challenging and rewarding position requiring a combination of design expertise, sales skills, strong communications abilities, entrepreneurial drive and commitment to excellence.
The successful candidate will have an education in residential design and at least 5 years experience designing, estimating, and selling work to residential clients. Success in this position requires: single family residential structural knowledge and experience; strong interpersonal skills; proven direct-to-homeowner sales success including effective skills in listening, client needs-assessment, empathy, time management, process management, self-discipline, self-motivation, client presentation, public speaking, written communication, a sense of humor, and personal accountability. Must be able to provide a portfolio of built design work, and have a proven track record in sales. Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture is a plus. Kitchen and/or bath design experience is a plus. Credentials such as: CKD, CBD, CMKBD, CGR, CAPS, or LEED AP or LEED Green AP are a plus. Must be driven to generate profitable business and thrilled clientele and be a team player. This is a commissioned position with some benefits.
