The northwest contemporary home with vaulted ceilings and lots of natural wood on the interior
needed careful thought when it came to planning the master bathroom.
The client’s wish list for this bathroom included a free standing tub, comfortable open feeling shower
and a "floating vanity".
A new clean contemporary shower of glass and tile has a rainshower fixed head and a hand held shower
head. The freestanding tub has a floor mounted free standing tub spout with a hand held shower for cleaning.
Vertical grain fir was selected for the cabinetry and countertop to enhance the clean contemporary look
of the room, and add warmth.
The above the counter lavatory is complemented with a deck mounted faucet.
Because the window is in front of the lavatory, a medicine cabinet to the left has a door mirrored on both sides so it can be opened for grooming.
Less is more in this wonderful, relaxing room. A skylight above the tub adds much needed natural light
And makes you feel like you are part of the forest in which this house resides.
