Marshall Runkel

Portland Home Performance and Solar Energy Consultant

Marshall Runkel is an experienced solar energy and home performance specialist, with BPI certification and more than 6 years in the industry. Before joining the Neil Kelly team, Marshall worked as the Chief of Staff for Portland City Commissioner Chloe Eudaly. Prior to that, he co-founded and managed GreenHome by EcoTech, an environmental services company focused on providing Home Performance with EnergyStar services.

Marshall is most interested in helping our community transition to a no/low carbon future. He helped develop and pass the initiative that created Portland’s Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund and is excited to develop projects that will actualize the potential of the fund.

Marshall lives in North Portland with his wife, a kid who attends Grant High School and their rescued Great Pyrenees. He likes to work in the garden, spot interesting birds on hikes, and cheer for the Portland Trailblazers.
