Erika Unyatinski
Design Associate — Portland
Erika brings hands-on technical experience to her work at Neil Kelly, having previously developed structural drawings and new home designs for a custom home and timber framing company. That experience gave her a sharp eye for how building elements come together and shaped her passion for the technical side of design.
Erika is especially drawn to additions and projects where structural troubleshooting plays a central role, and she enjoys thinking through how the pieces of a building fit together. She enjoys getting out on site visits, watching designs come to life, and being part of the collaboration that carries a project all the way to the finish line.
Erika holds an AAS in Architectural Design and Drafting from Portland Community College and a Master’s degree in German-Hungarian Translation from the University of Szeged in Hungary, and is a Chief Architect Certified Professional. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, gardening, paddle boarding, and restoring the many furniture pieces waiting for attention around her home.
