Project Manager — Portland

Dave’s career began in Portland’s art galleries and museums, where he worked as a carpenter before moving into residential remodeling. He spent 10 years as a carpenter at Neil Kelly, then ran his own general contracting business for 7 years. Now back with Neil Kelly, he brings three decades of hands-on construction experience to every project he manages.

David’s favorite part of the job is helping clients navigate the construction process and guiding them toward the home improvement they want. He’s energized by the variety of projects Neil Kelly takes on, and he thrives on the troubleshooting and problem-solving that come with the work.

Outside of work, David enjoys sharing meals with family and friends, spending time in his art studio, and walking the family dog, Ziggy.
As Project Manager, he maintains a laser-like focus on budgets, schedules and client communications. He strives to surpass expectations and works hard to “put a smile on every homeowner’s face” throughout a project.

On weekends, you can find Christian cheering on his favorite sports teams, spending time with family, or riding his motorcycle to the coast or mountains.
