Neil Kelly Honored Among Oregon’s Most Admired Companies

The Oregon business community has, for a very long time, been populated by admirable companies. Admirable both for the impressive products and services they provide, as well as the other benefits they bring to the state, like jobs, revenue, prestige, charitable giving, and a more stable economic future.

For 18 years now, The Portland Business Journal has been honoring such businesses (and non-profits) through an awards program naming Oregon’s Most Admired Companies. According to the PBJ, “the winners are chosen by Portland-area CEOs and other top executives in a survey of more 3,000 local leaders (starting in 2005 with just 800). They rank their first-, second- and third-place choices in ten industry categories and across all industries.”

As one would expect, the sportswear giants in our neck of the woods have topped the all-industry list year after year, with other laudable entities like Bob’s Red Mill, INTEL, and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital often ranking among the top ten. Nike has had a strong hold on the number-one spot since the honors began.

In 2022, Neil Kelly Company was honored as the second most admired company in the residential real estate industry category. And this year, we were honored again as the third most admired company.
