I am feeling so positive about my experience with Neil Kelly and all of the hard working staff that were involved in the project. Aaron Land kept everything moving along, communicated timely with me about every step and was always pleasant and positive. I was never in doubt or out of the loop on the project. If ever Neil Kelly needs someone to specifically attest to the professionalism, quality of work, and overall performance of staff, I am more than willing. Thank you so much.
Why Choose Neil Kelly
The remodeling company you’ll still be glad you hired years from now.
80 Years. Four Cities. 30,000+ Projects
Neil Kelly has been remodeling homes in the Pacific Northwest for nearly eight decades. For a homeowner, that history means institutional knowledge no newer firm can replicate: how PNW homes are built, how each city’s permitting works, how the climate and local materials behave. It also means financial stability and the purchasing power of the region’s largest residential remodeler, both working in your favor when you’re making a six-figure decision.
Designers who care about more than the design
Not a salesperson with a catalog. A dedicated designer who wants to understand how you live, what you love, and what this space needs to feel like when it’s done. With a deep bench across four markets, there’s a Neil Kelly designer matched to your style, your space, and your project.
ONE TEAM. DESIGNER AND BUILDER, TOGETHER.
Most remodelers separate design from construction. At Neil Kelly, they've always been on the same team.
When one company designs it and another company builds it, things fall through the cracks: cost overruns, designs that can’t actually be built as drawn, and a blame game when something goes wrong. You pay for every gap.
Neil Kelly pioneered the model that eliminates those gaps. One team is accountable for both the design and the build. Your designer and project manager are paired from the first conversation to the final walkthrough—no handoff, no finger-pointing, one number to call.
You’ll know the price before we swing a hammer.
A fixed-price contract is a promise, not a policy. Complete design drawings and written specifications are included in the contract price, so you know exactly what you’re buying before construction ever starts.
The People Building Your Home
There's a question every homeowner quietly asks: who, exactly, will be in my home for the next several months? The carpenters in your home are masters of their craft: Neil Kelly employees, fairly paid, with full benefits. Many of them have been with us for 30+ years. They aren't subcontractors racing to the next gig. When the people building your project are invested in their work, it shows in every joint, every reveal, every finished edge.
I'm very happy about the work and attention Neil Kelly put into my solar project. Whenever I called for information or clarification the foreman on my project would respond within a few hours or quicker. They listened to my requests and helped create and build the system I wanted. They shared how to do what I wanted and shared when it wasn't possible for my home what would work and why. Their crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves everyday.
We had an amazing experience with Neil Kelly. They were extremely patient with us and did some extra steps to help reassure us that our roof would pass city code to install solar panels. They were never pushy, and amazing communicators. The actual work was done in two days, and our panels work great. Everyone we interacted with on the team–from sales, to planning the system, to the GM, to the installer, to the folks answering emails–were prompt and professional. I really can't imagine a better experience. Oh. They were competitive when compared with other companies.
A Warranty That Means Something
Five years. Five times the industry standard. And a team that answers the phone when you need them.
Think about two years from now. A door starts to stick, or a seam needs attention. With most contractors, that’s your problem. They’ve moved on. With Neil Kelly, it’s a phone call to a company that’s still here, still standing behind work it did years ago. That’s what a real warranty is: not a document, a relationship.
