Design Philosophy

Anne brings more than 30 years of interior design experience to her clients. With a diverse background and style — from hotels and country clubs to custom residential and estate design, as well as countless ‘fixer’ renovations, additions, and ADUs — Anne’s primary focus is to bridge the gap between what happens in the design studio and what gets built on job sites. She especially enjoys residential design projects because she gets to experience her clients’ delight firsthand in the spaces they create together.

In her spare time, Anne enjoys hiking, venturing into her own home improvement projects, and planning fun events with her family.

Central Seattle Two-Phase Whole House Remodel

Whole House Remodeling • Reimagine Central Seattle, WA

The owner of this 1901 Cherry Hill home came to Neil Kelly twice. In 2022, designer Anne Bauer transformed a cramped, underperforming kitchen into an eclectic, highly personal space with custom cabinetry, a walnut island, hand-painted tile, and a breakfast nook anchored by bold wallpaper. Two years later, the same client returned with a vision for the entire upstairs: primary bathroom, two bedrooms, closet, powder room, hallway, and a laundry and sewing room. What emerged across both phases is a home that finally matches the way she lives in it.

Contemporary Renton Kitchen and Family Room Remodel

Kitchen Remodeling • Reimagine Summerwind, Renton, WA

A cramped, awkwardly configured, and partially usable space became a wide-open contemporary kitchen and family room designed for the way this young family actually lives. Designer Anne Bauer reimagined the kitchen layout entirely, squared out the space, and added a large central island that now anchors everything from weeknight dinners and homework to weekend entertaining.
