Meet the Portland Team

Neil Kelly's Portland team works out of the original Alberta Street design center — the same building where the company started in 1947. Designers, project managers, and craftspeople under one roof. No subcontractors running your project. No handoffs between firms. One team that knows Portland homes and builds accordingly.

Many of our designers, project managers, and carpenters have worked together for a decade or more. They know each other's standards. They know Portland's housing stock — the pre-war bungalows with balloon framing, the mid-century ranches with slab foundations, the Victorians with plaster walls and knob-and-tube wiring.

That shared history means fewer miscommunications, fewer surprises, and a project that moves the way it should. When your designer says a wall can come down, the production team already knows what's behind it. When your project manager sets a timeline, the crew knows how to hold it.

Production Team

Neil Kelly's Portland production team includes project managers and experienced carpenters who are Neil Kelly employees — not subcontractors. Your project manager is your single point of contact during construction, responsible for schedule, quality, and communication.

Home Improvement Team

Neil Kelly's Home Improvement division handles smaller projects and repairs — the work that doesn't require a full design-build process but still deserves skilled tradespeople. Portland's Home Improvement team members are Neil Kelly employees with the same quality standards as our remodeling crews.
